neosignal is an electronic music band originated in Hamburg / Germany at the tail end of 2011. after years of solo productions Florian Harres (also known as Phace) and Michael Bräuninger (also known as Misanthrop) decided to unite their musical vision in neosignal to reach out into new angles of electronic music and to fulfill their own perception of combining human soul and digital technology in sound and vision.

Having released their first pieces of music in form of a remix of Noisia’s ‘Stigma’ on Deadmau5’s Mau5trap, a remix of Rockwell & Kito’s ‘Childhood Memories’ on Shogun Audio and a remix of Koan Sound’s ‘Eastern Thug’ on Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint, the duo fully dedicated 2012 to the production of their debut LP. While showcasing their LP the very first time at Europes biggest independant music festival Eurosonic in Groningen/Holland in January 2013, Noisia instantly signed the LP to their Division Recordings imprint.

Their music already receives support by international media such as BBC / Radio 1 and Mixmag, and with fans like Amon Tobin, Skrillex and Noisia, you expect neosignal to offer something different – and the German duo certainly don’t disappoint. One can say that Florian and Michael developed an own sound best described as a mixture of hard-edged electronic music with a touch of rock and funk beneath the German engineering. Their music is just about as far from the world of bottle- popping, deodorant-selling dance music as is possible.
