***Knife Fighting Monkeys***

* Genre: knife fighting Rock

Die Knife Fighting Monkeys verknüpfen solides, (rock-)musikalisches Handwerk mit eigenwilligem und verspieltem Songwriting. Live liefert die Band eine Soundwall, die ihresgleichen sucht. Dafür sorgen ein Kriegsarsenal an Effektgeräten und der Vierkampf zwischen drei Gitarren mit dem Saxophon. Nico Loro Ravenni (kein unbeschriebenes Blatt in der Grazer Latin-Jazz-Szene) begreift die Band als Spielwiese für neue Sax-Sounds. Und mitten im Klanggewitter brummt die Stimme – sehnsuchtsvoll. Insgesamt sechs Musiker, die aus unterschiedlichen Musikrichtungen kommen (Heavy Metall, Punk, Pop, Jazz, Rock etc), sorgen auf diese Weise immer wieder für intensive Erlebnisse.
Wenn die Band selbst zum Konzert lädt, sorgen Gastauftritte anderer Musiker, Visual Arts, Videoeinspielungen und anderer Schnickschnack immer wieder für Überraschungen.

***Rokkitähti***

all you need is two guitars, bass, drums and the truth... "rokkitähti" isn´t about on stage choreography or make up. it´s about music from the heart and the guts, because life is too short to act like somebody else. you think it hits the spot? great! if you don´t -well, c´est la vie... after the lineup change in 2011 "rokkitähti" played shows in vienna (chelsea), played a stunning set in support of blackstone cherry (szene wien (sold out)), couple of club shows and festivals (picture on festival, reed rock...) including an acclaimed performance at novarock 2012´s red stage on (very) short notice.....
their new album "don´t ask, don´t tell" has been released on june 6th 2013.
