Es ist uns eine große Ehre, das berühmte Kanzleramt Label im Rahmen seines 20jährigen Jubiläums in Österreich hosten zu dürfen.

Heiko Laux, Labelgründer und Technolegende, wird uns fette Beats um die Ohren hauen, die sich gewaschen haben.

Supportet wird er vom Zuckerwatt Hero Fabian Hofer und den 35 Grad Acts Wendepunkt, der uns mit einem Live-Set verwöhnen wird sowie Oliver Gruen und Der Joe.

In it’s 20 Years of existance Kanzleramt Music, it’s evil twin Uturn and the sub-label k2o has reached the total output of over 1.000 titles released on vinyl, cd, dvd and online till the present day.

The label-name originated from a track called Kanzleramt written by Heiko Laux in 1992. The name stuck and soon after the same-named bar, run by Heiko and his brother, opened. In the basement bar Anthony Rother, Johannes Heil and Patrick Lindsey joined in to form the first group of artists, a strong foundation to launch the label in 1994. The first releases travelled over the regions borders and soon Christian Morgenstern, DJ Slip and Richard Bartz made their appearances on Kanzleramt. When Heiko took the label to Berlin in 1999 Alexander Kowalski and Diego Hostettler marched right into the core of the label and Kanzleramt became label of the year in the readers-poll of Groove Magazine 3 years in a row 1998 – 2000.

Since Kanzleramt headquarters took up residence in Berlin, Damon Wild, Fabrice Lig, Dave Ellesmere, The Solid Gold Players and The Offshore Funk wrote full-length albums. These expanded the variety of music on the label from sick jackin’ techno, through jazz influenced and orchestrated theme albums to warm classic house music, without compromising the Detroit influenced Kanzleramt core feeling. Right into the centre of this pitch came Ray Kajioka in 2004 and the 2 Dutchmen Peter Horrevorts in 2006 and Gideon in 2008 with their albums.
