"Betty" - 20th Anniversary Tour Europe 2014


Zu ihrem 20-jährigen Jubiläum werden Helmet in einer ausladenden Tour ihr viel gepriesenes Album Betty (1994) in voller Länge wieder live präsentieren, zusammen mit einem Set, dass sich durch die Gänze ihres Backkatalogs zieht.

Betty war der stark erwartete Nachfolger des ersten Mainstream Erfolgs der New Yorker Alternative Metal Band, dem '92er Album Meantime. Ihre Videosingle „Milquetoast“ lief damals auf MTV hoch und runter und das Album wurde von Kritikern insgesamt für seine genresprengenden Explorationen in die Gefilde des Jazz, Blues und Improvisation gelobt.
