"FRESH BREEZE IN LATVIAN ALTERNATIVE MUSIC SCENE.
Mango can still be considered new, though not anymore unexperienced band, consisting of six young people, passionate for positive and highly energetic ska music. Hailing from Riga, Mango have taken the best from local, as well as foreign ska and punk musicians and put it in their own blend of typical but definatly not boring 3rd wave ska/punk outfit. Mango is currently recording their first EP album. Edgars Abolins/Meteor Booking Agency Band has played lots of shows in almost every possible latvian clubs and festivals, have played in Lithuania and Poland. Shared the stage with such bands as: P.O.Box (FRA), Guadalajara(AT), Deep Illumination(AT), Zufallstreffer(AT), Dr. Green(LT) Podworkovi Huligani(PL), Port812(RU). Band appeared on the Latvian national television a couple of times.
