Russian/Hungarian duo GONSOFUS is coming to Linz for the first time :)

Die Zwei machen Dampf im Großformat. Direkt auf der Bühne werden 7 Instrumente mit blitzschnellem aber feinstem live Overdubbing geloopt, gestoppt, wiederangestartet und neu interpretiert. Verwurzelt in Hip-Hop, Reggae und Dub gestaltet sich jedes Konzert als Unikat des Moments - ein Aufeinandertreffen musikalischer und kultureller Welten. Das Leben zwischen Rußland, den USA, Kenia, Ungarn und der Slowakei prägt ihren Ausdruck und Stil, den “Transcontinental Groove”, entscheidend.
Ihr aktueller Wohnort ist Bratislava. Dort sind sie aber selten anzutreffen, da sie seit drei Jahren konstant auf Tour durch Europa und Nord-Amerika sind.

The band is known for it’s unique and high-energy style of live performance, with only two musicians sharing over 7 instruments and with live-looping creating a powerful live show with a sound of a full ensemble – live on the spot. They describe their style as “transcontinental groove”, a positive, uplifting, and creative mix of musical and cultural backgrounds and languages, based on the diverse cross-continental upbringing of the members. The band is currently based in Bratislava, Slovakia and has spent the last 3 years tirelessly touring all over Europe and North America.
